This ruling by the Supreme Court on campaign spending is outrageous. Long-term damage to our democracy and our country is inevitable. It  just adds more fuel to the arguments against treating corporations as legal persons.

    THe court seems to have not considered the rights of dissenting employees or shareholders when “there” company funds candidates or causes that run contrary to their beliefs.

    On a simular note I am greatly surprised that the press totally missed the importance of Sandra Day O’Connell’s vote that stole the Gore election. That vote became ultimately responsib for Bush,, for Iraq, for Afganistan, and for the dwlinding system of justice
